Ya, it looks kind of like one... But then a sinkhole wouldn't cause the surrounding area to be wet.

Whatever it is it's definitely something magical.

Lol, it does, kinda! But the water will eventually drain out. It just hasn't yet because of all the debris at the bottom. Explanations will play out soon enough. Helpful NPCs are on their way to convenient appearances. XD;;
