Uh oh, our heroes are not just there for their loot drops!
And, well, Leela has a point. As if Kylie and co. would readily hand over the journal the don't have. Ren needs to work on his ebil deduction skills.
Kylie chose to tell the truth and not ask why they needed it, which probably troubles Ren more than anything else. Maybe Kylie's the one with bad ebil deduction skills? XD;;;
Can't wait to see your V-day stuff tomorrow btw <3 (and everyone else's of course) (well, late tomorrow anyway... because Timezones u_u)
None the less the knowledge that he was the one who last had it would still be invaluable. Otherwise how would they know Cain didn't trade it for Coco feed? However, as I said if they are just going to try and kill the party because they won't comply with the second task there is no need to trade the info for nothing.
Or use it as Coco feed?

If only the party had met Ren under different circumstances... they'd probably be able to get along.
