Hey guys, happy Friday! :) I hope you guys are having a great Friday so far~!
On Monday, I'll be having the book launch for The Lethian for all the locals who bought a book or want to buy a book :D I'll try my best to get the Monday update done on time but if I don't, I'll let ya guys know~
On that note, if you bought a book (thankyew! <3) and feel inclined to write a review, I'd really appreciate a review on either Goodreads or Amazon. (I said 'no pressure!' before, so sorry I'm starting to put on some pressure now :'D) To be honest, I'd love to give an incentive (and maybe I will if I continue to get zero response OTL) for writing a review but it kind of bothers me to feel like I'm pressuring people to give a good review in exchange? :/ I don't really want that, so... all I can say do is give an impassioned plea XD
If you read the book, I'd sincerely appreciate a review of it (whether it's good or not XP), as it would help people who haven't read the book before to get an idea of what it's like. So if you do leave one, thank you so, so much in advance ;w;* <333
Anyway that's it from me for now! Have a great weekend y'all!
And omigosh you got a Kindle version too?? @_@ Ahhh!! Thank you for your support Matt!! And I hope you're enjoying it so far ;w;* I'm very grateful for any review so thank you so much in advance!! *glomp*
Seia, she ruined your vest thingy! Kill her! Kill her dead!
... or maybe she didn't. Hm... Kill her dead anyway! Or freeze her.
(btw I left a review on Goodreads, or at least what I think a more uh, articulate version of my reaction would look like XD. I tried to write one on Amazon, but it said I need to have made at least one purchase on Amazon to write a review, which is both dumb and reasonable, so yeah ^^;)
Omigosh Cici-muffin!! ;___;* *super-charged glomp* <333 Thank you so much you're a starrrr! >3<***
Hmm, if I conveniently rip off Seia's shirt using fanservice magic without actually damaging his skin, would that count as a proper touch I wonder? XDDD
Lol. Well, if she wasn't a detestable slaver... maybe? I'm guessing Seia has pretty stringent standards in ladies he is actually interested in (as opposed to just making go all giggly while he attends to other business.)
Hey Seia! She just slapped you in the face with a fairy! Are you really gonna take this @#$%@?! If you lose now no one will take you seriously again! Fight fight fight!
...Ahem. But seriously though, she knocked off his headband. Things are going to get serious now.
Oh gosh, I didn't want anyone to apologise!!! ;__;* *huggu* it's absolutely fine, please take your time! I know I'm asking a rather big favour from people when I request reviews! Doncha be sorry mercy, thanks so much for preordering at all, you're awesome! <333
Maybe he is untouchable in the sense that no one who has touched him has lived to tell the tale. After all, it's only survivors who spread the tales...
She looks surprised in that second panel. lol Why'd she think he was called "untouchable"? XD
I'm so sorry about not leaving a review, I really want to (because the book was awesome and I wanna share my feelings about it)! But I don't have much practice writing book reviews, and I want to say a lot in a few words (and I'm not good at that either)... Suffice it to say, I'm working on it right now, and I will definitely have it up on Amazon by Saturday night (EST) at the latest! OTL
Digi!! *tackle-glomp* ;w;* <333 I just saw your review, you're an angel! Thank you so much!! <333 Ah, sorry about making *you* apologetic in your comment, I didn't mean to make people feel bad! QAQ* I'm super grateful for the fact you read the story and enjoyed it at all! Thanks SO much for the review ;w;* <333 *hugguuuu*
Ophelia knew Seia was a tough boss, but probably didn't think he'd be *that* tough to even just scratch XD; maybe she thought 'untouchable' was just a figurative term ;P
The blow however seems to at least have touched some of his hair and his headband.
Edit: I should add that she nearly got skewered in the process.
And I'll leave a review if possible as soon as I'm through with reading the book. Didn't have much time this week, mainly due to a big shooting competition (Eidgenössisches Schützenfest).
She still has her barrier up, though how long it'll stand under Seia's offense (if he starts one up) is anyone's guess... for now. XD;;
And no worries, please don't rush! XD;; Aghhu I think I made people feel sorry/bad about having plenty of other, better things to do without meaning to :'D I just meant to gently wheedle LOL. Thank you though, so much!
And wow, how'd the big shooting competition go? O_O (I... don't have the confidence to say - or spell without looking - the name of the competition :'D I sound like this: "AYE-JJEN-NAW-SEE-CHEZZ SHOOT-ZEN-FEST")
*g like in good

*y approximately like in egypt - but more like the french u sound (try to say oo and move your tongue forward towards your teeth (not connecting though) then you got it)
Well in some parts, not so in others. I mostly sucked with the rifle. Only reached a so called Kranz (award-winning result in points) in one Stich (which is a general name for the contests) out of the five I tried.
Did better with the pistol. I bought five Stiche at 50 meters and reached the necessary result for a Kranz in every single one. Also did that for two out of the three I competed in at 25 meters. Stupid mistakes cost me that third one. Fortunately it was for the same award that I'd won in the single rifle Stich where I succeeded.
Also participated in one of the mastery contests (They are called "Meisterschaft" in German, but I'm using mastery instead of championship here, because I think that's closer to their spirit. And there are only actual national championships in some, not all of them.). The one I tried my hands at was the B-Mastery with pistol. Which is at 50 meters and a standard P10 target. First 6 series of 5 shots in 5 minutes per series, the precision part. Then the quick-fire, which is the same but with only 30 seconds of time per series. Got 554 out of the 600 possible points, which netted me the greater mastery reward. Which is not only the matching Kranzauszeichnung (the one to the right in the link below), but also the Meisterschaftsmedaille. Which, true to form for a federal instead of just cantonal competition, is rather big. Nearly the size of my palm, really.
Yeah, I'm overall quite pleased with how it went down. :)
Dang Lukkai! :D Congratulations! 554/600 is amazing! Have you mounted the medal up somewhere? That's so cool! You're a Master! (Meister?) Got any pics or vids of you wielding a pistol? That'd be awesome to see :D
I love your fight scenes. They're so epic, flashy, and the pacing is excellent!
I can't wait to see how it evolves from here. It seems like, in ways, they both are at least in the same tier as fighters. Matches between equals are either insanely short or insanely long!
Aww Outlaw, thank you!! ;w;* <3 You're always so kind and encouraging with your comments, ahh! <33
They're both pretty high up in level, but Lethian Knights are annoying because they're scary in both long and short ranges, and they tend to be well-versed in both magical and melee attacks. No one likes to cross swords with one... so what could Ophelia be thinking? ;P
Exactly, he doesn't have to be untouched to be the untouchable. Everyone who has ever been able to hit him just has to die. History is written by the victors after all.
I'm actually reading your book on kindle, 7 chapters in. I'll definitely leave a review when I'm finished!
And omigosh you got a Kindle version too?? @_@ Ahhh!! Thank you for your support Matt!! And I hope you're enjoying it so far ;w;* I'm very grateful for any review so thank you so much in advance!! *glomp*
...and she is in trouble - which she finally starts to realize '^_^
@alt text: looks like...
...but looks can be deceptive...
Sorry, your book still is AWOL... *sniffs*
(stupid strike...)
You better survive all this, dangit! XD
... or maybe she didn't. Hm... Kill her dead anyway! Or freeze her.

Well, it seems more like the other way around (according to Rufi's tweet):
Oh Seia, what a player!
He's got the moves like Seia!
He's got the moooo-oooo-oooo-oooo-ooves like Seia!
Whoa. O_O
(I may have been binge watching star wars clone wars cgi show they have on Netflix)
(I was definitely sleep-deprived when I wrote that)
...Ahem. But seriously though, she knocked off his headband. Things are going to get serious now.
He certainly won't take this lying down if he cares a jot about his reputation...!
... Actually, does he? ._.
Calling another summon? What about Insidious? :o
Rua is actually one of the first summons Ophelia called out, so not a new summon~ :)
And what IS Insidious...? ;)

It knocked his headband off, that's no fun :<

I'm terrible at European languages XD but thank you, this guide helps a LOT!

I'll do the review once life slows down a bit again. xD
