Hey everyone! I hope you're all having a fantabulous start to your week so far! :D <3
I will say this is the very first mention of 'The Hallowed Grounds'; given that the primary conflict between the Kijin and the Danrir is known to be territorial, I'm sure people can make fairly good guesses what 'The Hallowed Grounds' might be. We'll get into it eventually. ;)
Thanks for withstanding all the talky-talky so far folks! >3<* You guys are champs!
A couple of plugs today for Myl's Let's Plays - the latest episode of our It Takes Two playthrough went up this week (virtual muffins to those who catch the potentially video-demonetising omake XD), and I also wanted to plug her new playlist for Life is Strange: True Colors, the latest instalment in the LiS series. You don't need to have seen previous LiS games to appreciate this one, and I've been really enjoying it so far so I wanted to recommend it~ :) Watch it along with me :D
She's also posted a "Myl-mpression", i.e. first impression (spoiler-free, unless you want to get into the game 120% blind) video for people wondering what the game feels like, at least during the first couple hours of gameplay. Useful for people who want a glimpse!
This week and next I am going to be super busy IRL because of moving shenanigans but I have enough buffer to keep the updates going, happily! Hope you enjoyed today's update~ have an excellent weekend, and see y'all next week! :3
Establishing a Neutral Zone is a valid point. Everyone involved would have a stake in policing it. If Hallowed Ground means what it implies, it might be the only workable solution.
I'm the skeptic here, apparently. Even if Gwen's Idea works, which based on generations of bad blood between the 2 races makes that a fairly big "IF", how many people here would actually be willing to support a peace agreement? As mentioned last week, a lot of money is changing hands because of this war, who would willingly give it up?
Further, even if everyone agreed that peace was the best option, how long would it be before someone used something else to stir pot of hatred up?
Nemi and Jinn didn't stop hating each other because they had nothing to fight about, They stopped hating each other when they were forced to lean on each other for survival. they became a living example of the song of the Dancer. (ps, I am still throwing rose pedals at your feet for that poem, Rufi... I am not worthy!)
Definitely a situation to ask all these questions about! >-<* Stay tuned for more Fantasy Politics, lol XP
And gawsh you're makin' me blush XD thank you very kindly! <3 Definitely a part of the story I spent a good while on so always happy to know it was received well ;v;*
The trouble with a neutral zone is it's only gonna take one attack from somewhere to make everyone to lose whatever trust still exists and never consider it ever again and just go full-on war. Not mentioning how they're gonna trust everyone to maintain it as a neutral zone.
But claiming the Hallowed Grounds does seem like a good solution. Remove the reason for the war in the first place.
I sometimes wonder how characters would react if someone's suggestion was to nuke the Hallowed Grounds from orbit XD (I just remembered that this was essentially what Luffy tried to do during the Baratie arc lawl)
Thank you very kindly mjkj, I hope it'll go smoothly too ;v;**
And you are right, the Grey River was in fact mentioned. It is very, very close geographically to where the Hallowed Grounds are.
I'll drop an extra hint of sorts here: large bodies of water are extremely rare in Archaiea. The fact that there is a 'river' here indicates something... ;)
Thanks for the plugs once again! We're almost done with It Takes Two too! A wonderful game if anyone wants to play it with a friend or loved one~
I personally love LIS: True Colors. Love Steph, in case that wasn't clear enough.
Solving problems by addressing the root of the issue should be a no-brainer, eh? :D I'm looking forward to seeing what this Hallowed Grounds is! All these kitties and doggos need to play nice with each other.
Good luck in your endeavors this week!
And thank you, I too hope for all to go as smoothly as possible. ;v;*

@R/N: I hope your moving will go smoothly... *many huggus* ♡
even though it is the first mention of the hallowed grounds - the grey river was already mentioned here: Comic 621

Which side would be the Romulans & which the Federation? ;-)

Re: playing nice, I know, right? Why can't everyone just get along? :')
As for LiS:TC... You know, I can't quite remember... who's your favourite LiS:TC character again? ;P
