Hey folks, I hope you're enjoying your start to your weekend so far! ^_^*
With this, we're finally rounding out the full flashback sequence and returning to the inquiry in progress.
We're well over halfway through this chapter, but we're not quite at the peak of it yet. It's a bit of a slower burn this time, with lots of talking, so thanks everyone for sticking it out so far! We've got a lot more talky-talky to go, but I hope you'll enjoy the ride >3<*
Next update is in the chamber and ready to go next week, so see you then! <3
I would imagine he probably felt like the situation was too critical to explain and using force to get out quickly was the only option. But still, what a heartbreaking way to leave behind the people who saved your life. Left everyone with bad feelings, I'm sure.
As I mentioned last page, I think this is all an act on Stiles' part. Doing everything he can to make it look like HE was using THEM instead of them "aiding and abetting the enemy".
This definitely answers several questions, especially the one about Nemi saying "every Danrir I've dealt with has been a savage brute". (thank you Rufi for not spoiling this page for me, btw... I hope it didn't hurt too bad biting your tongue when I brought that up!).
And that being said, I think I agree with Sigpig... Styles did this to protect Nemi, not to hurt her.
Re: Alt text, Yes I would have to agree, a very big physical and emotional hurt.
poor Nemi *hugs her*
poooooor Naru *hugs and pats and holds and comforts her*
@alt text: indeed...
R/N: Yayyy, buffer *hugs Rufi* ❤️

Who knows what was in Stiles' head at the time~ ;)
(well, maybe me, I suppose)
Yeahhh, it was a sad inevitability u-u but things are different now for her, maybe? Maaaybe?
